Terms used
“Members” – these are people who are not in a paid membership but can still be matched when a fit match is found.
“Clients” – these are people who have paid membership fee and therefore get priority in matching during membership period

While Love Sponge Matchmaking attempts to provide accurate information on this website, it assumes no responsibility for accuracy. RESTRICTIONS/CODE OF CONDUCT
You are solely responsible for your interaction with other members & clients. We are not responsible or liable for the conduct of any Members/clients/matches during or prior and after a date. Please exercise common sense and prudent judgment in your interactions.
You agree not to do any of the following:
- Submit any direct or indirect endorsement or opinion of the product or services.
- Upload any Content for the purpose of intentionally misleading us or any other Service Member.
- Use the Service to engage in or solicit prostitution, to procure or facilitate another to commit prostitution, or to promote the prostitution of another person in any manner whatsoever.
- Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful Content.
- Upload Content or any files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancel bots, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of our Service or another’s computer or property of another.
- Download Content, take screen shots of pictures of matches shown to you for the purposes of sharing on your social media platforms without written member consent in addition to Love Sponge written consent.
- Falsify your profile information for the purpose of lying to a match
- Resell or otherwise commercialize Content or any other function or feature of the Service.
- Include in your social media any telephone numbers, street addresses, names, email addresses, of matches provided to you. You also agree not to post or send any photos containing nudity or otherwise vulgar or offensive materials through our Service or in connection to our services.
- Spam or otherwise generally harass users of our Service offline and online.
- Violate any applicable laws of Love Sponge Matchmaking and Love Sponge Media and general Kenyan laws
Membership & Termination of Membership
During your subscribed membership period, you will be matched with the particular matches, however, depending on the complexity of your criteria, we may extend the duration until we get the best match for you.
Member’s inappropriate conduct or behaviour or behaviour that is otherwise detrimental to the interests of Love Sponge Matchmaking and Love Sponge Media, as determined solely by Love Sponge Media & Love Sponge Matchmaking is cause for Termination without a refund. Behaviors including and not limited unconsented touching and groping, insulting, foul language, rape or attempt to rape, hitting, theft, fraudulent actions and anything else termed as indecent against our clients/members.
Membership privileges are personal to Member and may not be sold, transferred, or otherwise assigned in any manner.
Termination of membership by a member must be sent via email. Please note if you would like another membership after termination the member will be responsible for the new membership fee and it must be paid in full to start the activation of the membership.
We have the right to terminate or hold your membership in the following circumstances where:
- You have breached these terms and conditions
- You have failed to maintain contact with us or not responded to our contacts for a period of more than 2 months
- You have provided false information to us
- We have received a serious complaint about you which in the sole opinion of our Managing Director, is justified
- An acquisition of a criminal record which would significantly adversely impact on our ability to deliver the service to you
Your Submission
Any material, information, or idea submitted or posted on this website will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. Love Sponge Matchmaking may share or otherwise use your submission for any purpose whatsoever in regards to getting you a match or investigating your background and your personality. If any of the information submitted constitutes personal data, you agree that Love Sponge Matchmaking may transmit such personal data across national & international boundaries for any Love Sponge Matchmaking business or matchmaking purpose. Personal data will be treated as set forth in our Privacy Statement.
Right to Cancel
Your contract with us commences on the date that we receive your first payment. You have the right to cancel your membership for any reason within 4 days after your payment, (the Cancellation Period) without giving any reason. The Cancellation Period will expire after 4 days. You’re to inform us of your decision to cancel a membership by a clear written statement via hello@love-sponge.com
Within the Cancellation Period if you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you subject to incurred sending charges. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel a membership
Jurisdiction and Choice of Law
All claims or issues regarding this website, shall be governed according to the laws of Kenya. Any legal action concerning these Terms or this website must be brought within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises and must be brought in Kenyan State.
